Kaiserschmarren typical Dolomite dessert

Kaiserschmarrn is a typical dish from the Dolomites in South Tyrol. It is a sweet omelette made of eggs, flour, sugar and milk, cut into irregular pieces and served with jam, fruit or whipped cream. The name means 'emperor's pie' and derives from a legend according to which Emperor Franz Joseph liked it very much.
