The Toni Demetz Hut, located in an enchanting setting in the heart of the Dolomites, enchants visitors with its unique location at the top of the Forcella del Sassolungo. This magical place is located between the imposing walls of the Sassolungo and the suggestive Cinquedita, offering a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.

The refuge is located in the middle of an ancient coral reef, witness to a remote past in which the Tetys Sea flowed over 220 million years ago. From here, it is possible to set off on numerous itineraries, climbs or simply walk along suggestive paths. In addition, you can enjoy a pleasant stop on the panoramic terrace, admiring the breathtaking spectacle of the peaks of the Dolomites, already recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The history of this refuge dates back to 1954, when the famous mountaineer Giovanni Demetz decided to build a structure that could offer shelter and comfort to travelers, allowing them to admire the magnificent surrounding landscape.
