Rifugio Lagazuoi

To reach the Lagazuoi Refuge, just take the cable car to the Falzarego Pass, which will take you to the foot of this wonderful structure in a flash. The hut, famous for its delicious traditional cuisine and cozy atmosphere, offers one of the most spectacular terraces in the entire Dolomite region. Take path no. 401 and start the descent towards the Forcella Lagazuoi.

This location is an ideal starting point for visiting the tunnels, trenches and rearranged emplacements that are part of the open-air museum of the Great War. It is also a perfect setting for skiing in the renowned ski areas of Cortina and Val Badia, as well as along the epic Armentarola slope, one of the most fascinating slopes in the Dolomites. The Lagazuoi Refuge is also the perfect base for venturing out on excursions in the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park and in the Ampezzo Dolomites Park.

The hut offers several accommodation options, with two accommodation options to choose from. One consists of cosy rooms located on the first floor, some of which have a panoramic balcony. These rooms are decorated with elegant wooden furniture and equipped with high-quality linen for a restful night's sleep. The other option is large dorms with comfortable bunk beds. Linen is not provided here, but each bed is equipped with a mattress topper and soft duvet to ensure maximum comfort.

The refuge's kitchen offers a delicious selection of traditional dishes, with a special mention for polenta with venison, a dish that will satisfy the most demanding palates. Also, not to be missed is the strudel, an irresistible dessert that will test your will to resist temptation.

But the real novelty is the addition of a unique experience: a Finnish sauna located at an altitude of 2752 meters.
